

Fried Paneer(cottage cheese )cubes - as needed
Onion - 2 large chopped fine
Tomato puree - 1 cup or tomato paste - 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Capsicum - 1 cup
( Can use mixed colours)
Peas - handful(optional use only)
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Dhaniya powder -1 tsp
Jeera powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Cream - 3 tbsp
Kasuri methi - 2 tsp
Spices - Cumin seeds,caradmom,cloves,cinnamon( very few of each)

In a kadai(pan) heat oil and add all the spices,, wait till they splutter and add onions. Fry till golden brown and next add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute till raw smell leaves. Next add chopped capsicum and or peas and fry for few 4 - 5 minutes . They have to be little crisp but cooked well and not mushy. Then add kasuri methi(dry fenugreek leaves and saute for a minute).

Then add all the powders and mix once. Then add tomato puree/paste and cook till the smell leaves...just before removing add cream and cook for 2 or 3 mts...Finally add paneer cubes and remove from heat.
